Systems has developed complex mobile solutions for a wide range of
customers including some of the largest mobile content providers in
Japan. GBW Systems values the confidentiality of each client, aligning

The following client success profiles represent a sampling of some
recent, non-confidential projects. If you'd like more information
on our custom development services, please contact us. We'll be happy
to discuss your project and devise a business proposal outlining the
path toward achieving your mobile development goals.
KDDI Corporation
KDDI Corporation (http://www.kddi.com),
the Japanese telecommunications firm, planned to offer a BREW programming
course as part of a project funded by The Ministry of Economy Trade
and Industry. GBW Systems and KDDI collaboratively developed and
taught this course. The course covered BREW basics, architecture,
building BREW applications, the use of the BREW API, event management,
and application deployment and troubleshooting.
The BREW programming course was offered to graduate students at
Utsonomiya University from October through December 2005.
GBW Systems is also working with KDDI in the areas of mobile e-learning
and ad-hoc networking.
Les Club Des Createurs De Beaute Japan
Les Club Des Createurs De Beaute Japan (http://www.ccb-paris.co.jp),
a leading online cosmetics catalog retailer, wanted to improve its
mobile e-commerce site to provide enhanced promotional functionality
and automate its workflow.
GBW Systems worked closely with CCB to perform a thorough workflow
and requirements analysis. Based on this analysis, GBW redeveloped
the mobile website, linking it directly to CCB's mainframe. This
automated order processing and provided the site with updates about
the stock status of merchandise. Additionally, GBW created a sophisticated
administrative interface enabling CCB to program promotions such
as "buy one get one free," and update site contents such
as product categories and images. GBW provides ongoing website hosting
and maintenance services to CCB.
Interdeco
Interdeco (http://interdeco.co.jp),
an official AU content provider, needed to develop BREW applications
for Appli Izumi, a mobile website it was launching. GBW Systems
developed several BREW-based, math-quiz applications for the site
in accordance with Interdeco's specifications. GBW also developed
a server-side ranking and results database which allows users to
view their study history and ranking. Additionally, GBW integrated
the site and its applications with AU's billing system and wrote
scripts to ensure that the site functioned in carrier-compliant
manner. GBW continues to provide Interdeco with ongoing website
hosting for Appli Izumi and several of its other mobile sites.
Pikkle Incorporated
Pikkle Incorporated (http://www.pikkle.com),
a Tokyo-based mobile content provider, needed support for the development
of CharaJam (http://charajam.com), an innovative flash-based service
for the AU mobile phone service. GBW Systems provided Pikkle with
dedicated development resources in Bulgaria. GBW also helped Pikkle
integrate its service with AU's billing system and added functionality
to ensure the site worked in a manner compliant with carrier requirements.
In addition to assisting with ongoing CharaJam development, GBW
provides hosting, monitoring, maintenance, and backup services for
the site.
BREW and Java Application Development
Various content providers
GBW Systems works confidentially as a sub-contractor on projects
for a wide range of clients including several large games sites
and handset manufacturers. GBW has developed and ported a large
number of Java and BREW applications in that capacity.
